BELLY DANCING WITH ALIA
Hi I'm Alia, a professional belly dance performer & teacher for the last 15 years that emerged from an aerobic instructor & all dance background. Starting my belly dance career with The Belyssa Academy Of Danse Orientale Western Australia and furthered studies through attending workshops with Hossam & Serena Ramzy, Mahmoud Reda, Ibrahim Farrah and Elias Nachef, just to mention a few. The Desert Flame Dance Troupe was my home for a number of years as well as performing as a solo artist. Now I am in the never ending field of seeking new exciting movement & styles as well as refining traditional techniques with great respect to music and culture.
I have performed from Sydney to France, & Government House to camel Paddocks, Festivals, Haflas, Weddings, & Funerals.
Teaching Specialities:
Classic Egyptian, Turkish, Cabaret Styles, Lebanese, Techno-Pop, Tribal Fusion, Veil, Cane, Zills, Swords & Balancing, Floor Work, Drum Classes For Children & Adults.

Dance classes are held on Tuesday evenings for Children & Adults at Jenolan Way Community Centre Merriwa and Glennon View Clarkson.
Drum & Zill Classes are held on Wednesday Evenings at Glennon View Clarkson, 7pm - 8pm Tribal Fusion Classes Wednesday Evening, 8pm - 9pm
